 The Origin Story

The Mission

The Four of Scores is where cinematic storytelling meets bold, original music. Built for film, games, and anything that moves, this project blends epic orchestration, gritty soundscapes, and melodic metal to push emotional impact through sound. It’s not about playing it safe — it’s about scoring with intent, style, and a little bit of fire.

Background & Musical Journey

Founded by Keith O’Fallon, The Four of Scores originated in the high desert of Las Vegas from a passion for composing music that enhances narrative-driven media. Drawing inspiration from legendary film composers like John Murphy and Henry Jackman, and video game music visionaries such as Koji Kondo and Toby Fox, the project is a fusion of classical composition techniques with contemporary production. Keith’s journey in music has transitioned from jazz and symphonic, to learning the intricacies of melodic metal production and performing with his bands Nerd Rage, Launch The Fleet!, and Mad About Me.

His passion for music production led him to pursue a master's degree in Studio Technology at Southern Utah University, where he continues to refine his craft. With a deep appreciation for both orchestral and modern metal elements, Keith aims to fuse these influences into a unique and cinematic sound - ultimately giving rise to The Four of Scores.

With a hands-on approach to both composition and production, The Four of Scores explores intricate arrangements that range from sweeping orchestral scores to high-intensity melodic metal, akin to stylized violence and action. Each piece is carefully designed to evoke emotion, build tension, and bring stories to life.

Looking Forward

As The Four of Scores continues to evolve, the focus remains on pushing creative boundaries and crafting music that leaves a lasting impact. Whether through film, video games, or multimedia storytelling, the project is dedicated to bringing powerful and evocative compositions to life.
